Northampton Boat Club

Facilities

We have a large number of facilities for use by club members and whilst the club takes care that these are in a serviceable condition, the club cannot accept any responsibility for injury or damage caused by their use.

Showers

The showers are situated in the Clubhouse, please leave them for others as you would wish to find them.

Elsan Disposal point

Not a lot to say about that one.

Clubhouse and Bar

We have a well stocked bar in our Clubhouse which is run by club members. The bar has differing opening times throughout the year. Please see below for current times.

Second Tuesday of the Month Closed 18:30 - 11:00
Thursday Closed 19:30 - 22:30
Friday Closed 20:00 - 23:00
Saturday 12:00 - 15:00 20:00 - 23:00
Sunday 12:00 - 15:00 Closed

Other times are at the discretion of the club.

The Bar, Clubhouse and Kitchen can be booked by members for their own parties but the member booking the party will be responsible for the conduct and any breakages by their guests.
Please be aware the Clubhouse and Bar will remain accessible for all other club members during your party.

Electrical hook-up points

Whilst these points are not metered, we do ask for a small donation when being used by members. Donations are made via the donations box located in the club house.

Slipways

We have one slipway where members can launch or retrieve their boats into the River Nene using their own trailer.

We also have another slipway with a powered winch where your boat can be pulled out of the water on a trolley to be worked on. Members can book a weeks slot on the powered winch slipway to work on their boat. These are booked on a first come first served basis. This is very popular so you will need to get in early to book your slot.

Engine Hoist

Our engine hoist extends over the water so you can remove your engine with your boat still in the water.

Hardstanding and Gantry

There is limited space on our hardstanding, we have a gantry where you can work on your boat when it is out of the water. Please liaise with the harbour master before using either.
